Research Interests
Dr. Palumbo works on various research and outreach projects in the Western Center for Food Safety, and assists with tree nut food safety research and outreach. She also coordinates with UC Food Safety and CPS on a five commodity-specific training programs for CalFERT (California Food Emergency Response Team) under the RRT grant from FDA, as well as maintains information on nut safety (publication list, outbreaks and recalls) on the UC Food Safety website.
